Posts: 825 | Anybody Interested In a G4 Power Mac
Literally brand new. This is a desktop and it was given to me. I have tested, and it works fine!
I was going to play with it because of the Mac problem we have had, but have decided it doesn't make any sense because everyone who has been having problems is working with a newer model. Might be good for someone who wanted to work with Graphic Design.
Talk to me, and we'll make a deal. There is also a 15" Monitor, Mouse and Keyboard. |

What kind of memory are we talking? I might like to dedicate my iMac just to photography offline and use another computer for all my other uses...just looking for the space. What are you asking? Does it run OSx? Maybe we'll meet afterall. I will probably be visiting my aunt who lives in Tequesta around the 20th of June....the Jupiter Lighthouse is maybe worth the trek down? Jupiter island is fantastic but this aunt is very ill so we (my sister who's caught the shutterbug something awful)and I won't have time to drive up your way.... I just read this forum for the first time in months, keep forgetting to look at sale items. Thanks for offering, trish |

I would love to meet you in Jupiter. I will check on the memory. I talked with a Mac expert on eBay, and he said it was worth about $150-$200. Not a big deal. I believe it uses OSx, but I know very little about Macs. I will leave it with you, to try, if you wish. |

I'll firm up plans and also do some G4 research. I did read there are 2 kinds:Yikes (pre 12/99) and Sawtooth (post 12/99) which are quite different beasts. Thanks for the offer, would love to meet even IF the G4 isn't all that. One can run OS X and the other can't...for instance. Not sure what I need. Does it have iPhoto? Thanks. |
