I just want to let all of you know that if you have not seen many reviews from me the last week, this is directly related to my workload. I have only reviewed about 90 files, but have viewed well over 250. My objective is to assess what is going on, and who is doing what, and if we should change some things. While I have not discussed this yet with Jacob, my personal opinion is that to be allowed to submit (5) reviewable photos a day is too many, and people will not do a quality job in their reviews. I see this happening already, and it makes zero sense for me to see people resubmit old photos, that have not been resized to fit our current setup, or optimized, just so they can put something up. This is a rush to failure if we want to attract good people to our site and hopefully demonstrate to everyone that we have not only a great venue, but also a standard of excellence.
There are no sour grapes associated wth this. We are going through a learning curve, to make this the best it can be.
I hope that you will understand and support.
Think about this. Just supposing, a very interested buyer takes a look at the whole site. He scans the photos, and sees those without descriptions, poorly sized, etc..... Do you think they might have in the back of their mind, "These are the Aspiring Photographers of The World"
I am not telling you to do this, but you can delete photos now, and would strongly recommend that you look at some that are up, and might consider doing that!
