OK, I told everyone that my goal was to get to a point whereby you could sell your work from the Website. Frankly, the participation does not warrant doing this at this point by myself. I do however have something as a starting point. I know there are a lot of free services out there whereby you can submit any photo you want with your friends and family. I take no exception to this, however this is not the row I want to hoe!
To get moving towards selling your photos on line, I am seeking your consideration.
Imagine that:
I can provide you with a single page website customized to you specifications
o You can also submit your own website design!
Your link to the world to the world would be , i.e. http:// apow.com/LVE Gallery
o This is important for name recognition
You could put up to 100 photos in up to five different albums of your choosing
o This is a starting point
o All photos must be of high saleable quality
I have final decision on this
This is not designed for snapshots to share!
o All sales would be between you and the prospective buyer
This information would be on your website
There would be a cost associated with this to setup and maintain
o No commissions would be payable to APOW
o Sales would be directly between you and the buyer
o I will evaluate costs based on your interests!
o 30% of all revenues would be invested in advertising your Galleries
o An accounting of this would be provided to those who elect to participate.
The Gallery format itself would be exactly like the current galleries. The link would take you directly to your personal gallery.
o The only advertising on your page would be apow.com
All of the free sites make their money by deluging the users with advertising and that is how they do this for free.
Nobody makes money doing it this way
o Uploading will be modified to allow you to upload up to 20 photos at a time in similar fashion to the way it is done with the current galleries one at a time.
o You would have Administrator privileges which would permit you to customize your gallery.
This is easy, but I will provide technical guidance at no charge
o You may add delete files as you determine appropriate
o You have more than 100 photos
The cost for this will be determined based on what I can negotiate with my provider.
I pay an annual fee plus bandwidth, which means that based on how much I use, my costs varies!
I believe I have demonstrated my integrity and I while this is a new venture for which I cannot guarantee success, this is a model based on a lot of research.
May I please have your comments and thoughts?

Im totally new about selling or buying pics online, haven't bought or sold any yet.
I have the same questions as Nina, about a watermark. Do we have to put a watermark on the pic, if that is the case, we have to make a special copy of the pic with the watermark accross? Also not sure what is the format when you sell pics online. I have a schedule with what file size is better depending on the print size you want to make, it was given to me by a pro who frames and prints pics for hotels and restaurants also for advertising. For payment methods, do we need to have a special PayPal account, I already have one can that one work? Or what paying methods would we accept? Not sure how it works with credit cards.
