I am looking for panorama tripod head, I checked the internet and camera store and they are mediocre in quality, and cost as they done from pure irridium. Anybody has a good instruction how to make it? May be sombody already had the bamps on their head ? | | | [1] | | | November 15th, 2006 08:51 AM | | andreyG

Thanks Linda, but in panorama head it is an issue of NADIR and being able to move in exact degree, also if i want to do it in 2 or 3 levels - I have to have the ability of the same angle. It is possible to do it from hands, but too much time for corrections. It is a very good idea for a level sitting on a hotsoe, I already ordered some broken flash on ebay to make a level from it. Please read NODAL point instead of nadir point. This is a point of the lens, where all the light coming to the pinpoint - where the diafragm is locatd, theoretically if you rotate the camera around this point - all the images suppose to be perfectly stitchable. It is why panorama tripod head is used - you can not do it by you hands. Majority of panorama softwares are adapting to this, but this is a headack. But majority of panorama head, or cost more then 900 dollars, or fibly-wobly tipe, or both. I was looking for a reasonable wooden pan head, but there is none, now I am doing blueprints and will do it by myself, from my beloved Padauk wood. | | | [1] | | Login Now to post a reply (You will be brought back here to post your reply) |
