Time to covey my sincerest thank you and to give credit where credit is due. Without this site, it's members and our Fearless Leader I could never have accomplished what I have in the past 6 to 8 months. It all starts with the dedicated, knowledgeable, kind and supportive members of this site..APOW. You have been teachers, mentors and supportive friends sharing your skill and knowledge freely. The site itself is, imo, one of the most extensive, detailed, "how to" sites on all of the web. There are tools galore for learning photography from the basics to producing a fine art finished piece, and a knowledge base from documentary to enhanced photography using filters and techniques to create anything the heart/mind comes up with to make a statement. On this site I have been "forced" to realize that having a digital camera in my hand DOES NOT make me a photographer/artist. There are thing such as "techs", lighting, composition, DOF (depth of field ), ROT (rule of thirds, what foreign language is this?), aperture priority, shutter priority and on and on, that need to be learned to become a photographer AND THEY ALL CAME BE LEARNED ON THIS SITE!!! AREN'T WE LUCKY??
Just about done .....So, to Larry and Linda, and to ALL the members THANK YOU. Bedause of you I have entered 2 juried shows, had 4 out of 8 pieces selected and sold one (so far), and won 2 awards in those shows PLUS!!! due to your votes I placed FIRST in the Ideal Horse contest, Amature, Head Study division. What a wonderful testimony, and this will for sure go into my keeper momentos. The one thing everyone should know and understand, that like I have always said, it's about "Gives and Gets" No person on this site has worked any harder than you, and it is through your work ethic and dedication that you exemplify this. I have worked a lot with you, and enjoyed every moment. My "Get" for doing this is seeing your results, and your telling the world how you feel and how much you appreciate me and them!

Way to go Girl! Your images are always awesome, very well deserved :)

Congratulations on your photo success stories, you deserve all the recognition and awards you've received so far, and I predict that there'll be plenty more in the years to come. Your horse photos are awesome!
