It's really a very scary prospect at first, I had nightmares over it, but found that by looking thru the archives, doing a mental review then checking it with the ones written was a great help. I think the key is to be gently honest and give gentle suggestions for improving (if necessary). Most of us are here to learn and constructive criticism is a great tool. Start by opening the photo and going with the first gut reaction, then look closer. You may also want to start by just commenting or asking questions of the artist and don't worry about rating for a bit. Hope this helps...Beth

hi

I means that you are not sure that you will tell right things, I guess. And this is absolutely true. There is no right things. Everybody has a feeling and your understanding of things - reviews is one of the best things to teach yourself - commenting the others works - you begin to understand what is wrong and what is right and teach yourself how you can do it better. Answering the review - you doing the same< because in a majority of cases - you do not see a lot of things that obvious for a fresh eye. Just go ahead.

Re reviews

I agree with Audrey they are hard to do.Alot of variations are invold most common diffrent computers & sreens. Most of my reviews I work with color and try to improve on that.Other people at this site have different stlyes you will find that you like doing something with photo`s go from there. As for reviews think of it as your own and make suggestions right or wrong we are not perfect. You will find your photographing will get better and better from what I have seen of your work keep at it and where live you have heaps to show us
