Had the pleasure of Larry`s company this morning (Through Skype) about where we are heading. It will be the only place I know of where you will hands on experience in learning the software that you using to get the best out of your photos.Discuss in real time do in real time on how to do what to get that little bit more from your photo and share your ideas. As I`m going to Darwin on Saturday for 10 days Larry showed me the presentation it is very well put together lots of plus`s easy to follow. If you want to learn or got a skill in editing this is the place to give it a crack you never know there might be a nice juicy carrot at the end.
The last few reviews I done sat down and tried to improve what I could to the photos through Lightroom kept some of them if you are interested can send them if I have it.Audrey`s photo done infrared wouldnt touch it as I have no experince with it as yet. |

I am really excited about APOW LIVE and what we are about to experience. I was honored to be on a Live aAudible online session with Larry this morning as he went through a slide presentation explained how this program will benefit all the members. This program is going to teach us how to get those great photos we have all long for. If you are like me, I learn soooooo much faster when I can see something explained, instead of reading it and trying to figure it out. When you use all you senses, seeing, hearing, toughing and doing, you will retain so much more for a longer period of time. This is why I am so excited about APOW LIVE, I am a visual learner and I know I will benefit greatly from these sessions. Please do yourself a big favor and get connected to Skype so you can be apart of this wonderful venture. It is so easy and so much fun! |

It's really exciting to be able to get present time hands-on training in photo editing techniques via the computer. Earlier today, I was fortunate enough to be a part of a small group of five were introduced to Larry's vision via Skype. It was like a visual conference call, only it was via the Internet. I've also "met" with Larry on a one-to-one basis, so that he could show me certain editing skills, even to the point that I was able to make corrections on his computer from my home! (Larry's in Florida, I'm in Rhode Island...that's a pretty cool feat, I think.) Skype is wonderful! It costs nothing to download, and you're able to talk to other Skype users for free. You can also receive photos, documents, even uploaded programs via Skype. All you need to buy is a set of headphones with an attached microphone, which you can get for as little as $12. If your computer is equipped to record and receive sound, and jacks to accomodate the headphone and microphone plugs, then you're all set! Just think, if you can get your family and friends to also get Skype, you cna talk to them free of charge. This is great if you call long distance. That, alone, is a terrific selling point! |

I, too, was a part of the intrepid group of 5 whose members, in reality, are sprinkled around the US (but could just as easily be around the globe) who witnessed Larry and Bob's (RobertK) presentation of our APOW future, if you so care to choose it. SKYPE may sound rather complicated but really is totally geek -proof (otherwise I sure wouldn't be using it!) and is , oh yes, FREE! that is, free to download and free between SKYPe users. the conference type call we used yesterday didn't cost a penny, connected us from all over (as you could with your family and friends) and is as easy as clicking on 1 icon and there's the other party. BUT THAT"S NOT THE BEST PART! Larry invested in a program that temporarily "takes over" your computer and shows you His desktop and all he is doing to edit, or demonstrate various editing tools,...show you on YOUR photo what could be improved....do you see where this is going? WE can have our very own lessons in our bathrobes!
So, as learners we couldn't ask for more convenience or ease of use. Download SKYPE now, there are versions for Mac and WIndows users so no excuses. There's a whole new world of possibilities out there. |

I also experienced the new software with Larry and Robert, it is awesome and will be the best workshop ever, we will learn from eachother with visual teaching and learning, instant feedback as we can talk, ask, suggest and comment.
This new feature will make APOW the best photo club ever! :)
Way to go Larry and Bob :) |

This live feature - I agree with everybody - is just great. Looking forward for it. About infrared - our cameras have a hot mirror as a filter in front of the sensore, preventing infrared to go through. If you take it away - it get both visible and infrared, if you filter out visible spectrum - you get infrared. |
