I cannot always post photos first thing in the am....but if I post them in the afternoon, I do not get as many reviews, sometimes none. Sometimes I get one ready to post around 8pm but then it's really too late. Could we maybe have a grace period that photos posted after (say) 8 or 9 pm be included in the next day's list as well? ( If this is already the case, we'd never know because we can't see our own posting.) Is it possible to do? this is just a suggestion, but it could even the playing field if the number of reviews counts for the POTW, but late postings are overlooked. | | | [1] | | | May 22nd, 2007 10:49 AM | | andreyG

If I were as smart as my wife after... We sure have 14 days, but I have the same experience, that the pictures placed later (if they do not have huge WOW factor) having less reviews, I posted some forum question about it, some while ago. My proposal is to post all the pictures at, I can say< 8 am every day, and whoever submitted them after this time - going to the next 8 am posting. - I think it could be better? | | May 22nd, 2007 03:57 PM | | pb

This would be an excellent, doable solution.....by 8 or 9am or land in next day's uploads. I have missed so many evening uploads because I've told myself "I'll do it in the morning" but can't or forget...then it's evening again and same dilemma. The rest of you are technically correct but reality doesn't always pan out that way...front page news is read, the rest wraps fish. It's a rare thrill to get a review days after the photo was posted. | | | [1] | |
