After a long dry spell, photograph-wise, and a rather difficult week personally-wise, the trip of my dreams is finally here...well, it will be this Friday :-). I will be taking a seven night/eight day paddlewheel boat cruise along Alaska's Inside Passage. If I don't come home with some decent shots, then something is seriously wrong with me ;-)! I have always wanted to visit Alaska, and to be able to see it from a boat that's small enough to get so close to a glacier that I can almost touch it is nothing short of heaven. I.ve been on anothe shore of the arctic ocean - it was great, have a trip scheduled in July this year, it looks as a paridise of the photographer. Do not forget ND filters - the contrast of snow and terraine is too great to capture without it, and be sure that you make at least X3 times more shots that you planned - have enough of storage capacity...
