My thoughts....
Jacob and Larry have dealt with a couple of issues that I have had in regards to certain things that I don't understand like photo review/replys, memberships and members and so on. That I didn't think where appropriate in the forums.
I have been blunt and asked questions and if something doesn't seem right I will continue to let Larry and Jacob know or ask the members.
And I want you to know this because I encourage you to make this site the best professional site there is
Most of us are here for a reason but what that reason is, it's up to you. But to me this is important I am paying for this and sometimes I feel as if some people think this is a contest. We are not here to win anything and be dishonest.
I'm telling you all this because right from the very start Larry and Jacob have been upfront and professional they have protected my anonimity and dealt with my personal issues 110%.
And When we bring matters to their attention rather public or confidential they have quickly dealt with them. We are lucky to have such wonderful team leaders and I'm not kissing butt. LOL I am trying to encourage you to make them aware of issues that are beyond your control.

Ok, good discussion. I want you all to know that we will listen and consider. This does not mean we will implement. We are not trying to be all things to all people! Right now we are trying to find a happy medium! The only thing I would suggest is tha, as I often do when something bothers me about an individual, is that I send the individual a Private Message, This however is your choice. Just so you know, I sent more than 15 PM's and emails yesterday to individuals because I felt this the right thing to do. As long as it doesn;t get nasty, we will allow it in the forum.
The TPW mentality still lingers. Some of our members put more time there than they do here. This does not help our cause. If you want a workshop, then you have to review the photos as well as submit them. I check TPW every day, and look at the reviewers list, and I know who is doing what I imply. Mind you, this is everyones preogative, but you can't have it both ways. |

Thank you. Mellissa did contact me personally about several issues all of which had merit. In my opinion, she voiced her opinion because of her satisfaction. Let's just get over it and continue to get better at our objective, to become better photographers, and start reviewing more photos. This is the key! I never walk away from problems. Communication is a two way street. You talk, I listen, and vise versa. Life's too short, your wearing me out! OOps, I just looked at the time, and there is only about an hour before cocktails. |

I want to thank PAphotoman for getting my message. I like that you reversed my message the way I wanted it to come across. Larry said it communication is a two way street and for us to learn from eachother and encourage and motivate. I hope everyone understands what I was saying. |
